Aboitiz Energy Solutions, Inc. (AESI) has been issued both the Retail Electricity Supplier's (RES) License as well as the Wholesale Aggregator's (WA) Certificate by the Energy Regulatory Commission. As an RES, AESI is now authorized to do the merchant function in the era of retail competition and open access, i.e., sell, broker, market or aggregate electricity to contestable end users. Meanwhile, as a WA, AESI may now engage in consolidating and trading electric power to distribution utilities.

Power Distribution Management


Aboitizland, Inc. and Cebu Industrial Park Developers Inc. of the Aboitiz Group have individual 25MVA power substation located at MEZ 2, Basak, Lapulapu City and Arpili, Balamban, Cebu that provides reliable and efficient power source to the different locators.

The operation and maintenance of both 25MVA power transformer are being managed by Aboitiz Energy Solutions, Inc (AESI).

AESI is responsible to cater any power related concern of the customers.

Monthly power meter reading is conducted by the AESI Electrical personnels and witnessed by the locators’ representatives to determine the monthly consumption of the different locators for billing purposes.

AESI coordinates with switchboard operator during any abnormalities such as low voltage or TRANSCO/NPC power failure.

AESI electrical personnels conduct a yearly preventive maintenance of the substation, distribution lines and the meter accuracy testing to all installed digital / electromechanical power meters and energy meters
